"Olympic portrait"~Ron Orlando

I chose this image as one of my influences because it is a painting that is done by my old art teacher Ron Orlando. He taught me everything i know about both painting and drawing and started me down the path of pursuing art education as a career. I always admired how realistic he was able to make his paintings especially in his ability to capture texture

"Doctor Gachet"~Vincent VanGogh

I have always admired VanGogh's unique style and how through the use of his brush strokes he was able to capture emotion. This is my favorite of his paintings and in eighth grade i actually did a series of prints inspired by it
